How do credits work? (Usage, top-up, balance)

Updated over 4 months ago

Headshotly uses a simple credit-based system to let you generate photos, train models, upscale images, and create videos - all in one place.

1. Types of Credits

  • Photo Credits – For generating AI headshots, thumbnails, or social media photos

  • Model Credits – For creating or training a new AI model (your face or others)

  • Upscale Credits – For enhancing image resolution

  • Video Credits – For generating AI video content

2. Check Your Credit Balance

Go to Dashboard → Profile to see your remaining Photo, Model, Upscale, and Video credits.

3. How Credits Are Used

    • Social Media Posts

    • Image Enhancer

4. Buy or Top-Up Credits

5. Credit Expiry

  • Paid plan credits do not expire while your account remains active

  • Free or promo credits may expire, with details shown in your notifications or email

6. If You Run Out of Credits

You’ll get a warning before generation. You can top up anytime from your Profile or the Pricing page.
